At Ferryboat Campsites, we've done our best to create an environment that anticipates and satisfies our customers' needs. With that goal in mind, our map and policies are available on this page. This is a family campground; general information is listed here and additional information will be given at check-in. These rules are designed to make camping a safe and happy experience for all. Please respect your fellow campers. Thank you, and enjoy your stay!

Rules & policieS

  • MasterCard, Visa, or Discover credit card number can be used for deposit. 1-night deposit is required for all reservations and a $200.00 deposit is required for monthly reservations. For holiday reservations, there is a 3 night minimum, no discounts, and pre-payment required.

  • Camping clubs are welcome at a special rate... please call for details! A 1-night deposit per site is due on all group or club reservations.

  • Check-in time is 2:00 PM for all campsites and 3:00 PM for cabins and rentals. Check-out time for all campsites, cabins & rentals is 1:00 PM. There is a $5.00 per hour early check-in or late check-out fee (based upon availability). All guests must register at the office. As a registered guest (and everyone in your party) of Ferryboat Campsites, you acknowledge the acceptance of these Rules & Policies.

  • Discounts:

    • Stay 6 nights, get the 7th night free!
    • AARP, AAA, Military — 10% Discount with valid identification
    • Passport America — 50% off Regular Rate Sunday thru Thursday. Discount not valid during weekends and holidays. Credit cards are not accepted. $3 for additional people, $4 per night additional for electric.

  • If you find you need to cancel your reservation, please be aware of our cancellation policies:
    • All cancellations made before 30 days prior to arrival will be refunded; a $20 service fee will be deducted from total refunded.
    • Guests must pay reservation in full 30 days prior to arrival. Any reservation not paid in full 30 days in advance is subject to cancellation.
    • Reservations cancelled between 3-29 days prior to arrival will receive a camping credit good only for the current camping season minus a $20 service fee.
    • Any cancellations made within 72 hours of arrival will forfeit their total stay price.
    • Late arrivals will not be credited.
    • No refunds due to weather, leaving early, or acts of nature.

  • Children under the age of 18 must stay with a registered adult camper. Parents are responsible for the actions of their children. Small children must be supervised by an adult. Children 12 years and under must have a parent with them in the restrooms, by the river, and in the game room. Playgrounds & Gaga ball pit close at DUSK.

  • Firearms and bows are prohibited from the campsite without consulting with management.

  • Positively no nails or permanent fixtures in the trees, as well as no cutting of the trees.

  • Management requests that all campers please observe the 5 MPH speed limit. No joyriding in the campsite with motorcycles or minibikes.

  • Quiet hours are from 11pm to 8am. Children under the age of 18 must be on their own site or with a parent or guardian during these hours.

  • Every electric motor driven device/vehicle that seats more than one person must follow all golf cart rules and policies. All other electric motor driven mobility devices should be used with caution and respect for other guests. All gas powered 4 wheelers, scooters, etc. are not allowed to be operated on the premises. Please ask the office if you have any questions prior to your arrival.

  • Golf carts, minibikes and motor scooters must be driven by a licensed driver. Golf carts and bikes must be maintained so they run quietly. Golf carts must have lights after dark. Only ELECTRIC golf carts are permitted. All golf carts must be insured. A copy of insurance must be provided to office upon registering. You must be a licensed driver to operate a golf cart. All golf cart owners/operators must abide by the Golf Cart Rules & Policies available at the office and provided when submitting insurance certificates. Golf carts are for a maximum of 4 people and all must be seated.

  • Vandalism, theft or misconduct will result in immediate loss of site without refund. Campers are to conduct themselves in a proper manner when they are in the Rec hall and game room.

  • Pets must be on a leash and must be cleaned up after. No pets in the campsite store or shower house.

  • There is absolutely no car washing permitted.

  • Bicycle-riding after dusk is prohibited. Any child 12 or under must wear a helmet. At dusk, all bikes are to be placed safely at your site.

  • Visitors must register at the office upon arrival. Unregistered visitors are not allowed to enter the premises when the office is closed. A daily visitor’s fee of $3.00 per person will be charged. Overnight guests will be charged at $5.00 per night. Daily visitors must not enter property before 9AM and must exit property by 9pm. As a registered visitor of Ferryboat Campsites, you acknowledge the acceptance these Rules & Policies.
    Please Note: Any Ferryboat Campsite guest or visitor found not obeying these Rules & Policies, causing dissension, or displaying any action or conduct that we deem unsuitable will be asked to leave without warning and without a refund of any and all payments.

  • Alcohol is permitted under the following conditions without exception:
    • Must be of legal drinking age.
    • Must remain in your own campsite/camper.
    • No open display of alcoholic beverages.
    • Excessive drinking, rowdiness, loudness, vulgarity or creating a disturbance will result in removal from campground without refund.

  • Playground equipment, campground facilities, the Susquehanna River, the pond, etc. are for you to enjoy at your own risk. Ferryboat Campsites will not be held liable for any damages or injuries.

  • Please respect your fellow campers, supervise your children, and enjoy your camping experience at Ferryboat Campsites. Anyone not complying with these rules and regulations, may be asked to leave. We reserve the right to eject or refuse service to any camper or visitor, not conforming to the best interest of the campground. Any and all concerns are to be brought to the office.

  • Ferryboat Campsites is not liable for any injuries that may occur on campground property. Ferryboat Campsites is not liable for any acts of theft or vandalism, or for any damage caused by natural elements. You are responsible for carrying insurance coverage for your RV, vehicles, and their contents.

  • Please be aware that by entering Ferryboat Campsites property, you consent to your voice, name, and/or likeness being used, without compensation, in photos, films, and tapes for exploitation in any and all media, whether now known or hereafter devised, for eternity, and you release Ferryboat Campsites, its successors, assigns, and licensees from any liability whatsoever of any nature. Do not enter Ferryboat Campsites property if you do not wish to be subject to the foregoing.

  • Campsites must be kept clean and free of clutter. Please do not throw cigarette butts on the ground. A cleanup fee may be charged if your campsite is left in an unsatisfactory condition. Dumpsters for household trash only are located across from the barns near the entrance of the park. Please note no cardboard boxes, metal, tents/outdoor structures, household/camper appliances, or furniture of any kind can be placed in the dumpsters.

  • Campfires are permitted in the supplied fire ring but MUST be attended at all times. Campfires must be completely extinguished before retiring. Fire pits that are left full of garbage will incur a $25.00 cleaning charge.

  • Our fishing pond is catch and release only. Swimming is not allowed in the pond. Fishing in the river is permitted but individuals must have a valid PA fishing license. You must be a current camping guest to fish on the property. Boat launches are also only for current camping guests use.

  • We do not allow any digging, placing stakes, etc, to minimize damage to campground or persons.
